Michael's Story
Michael Connor was born in Detroit and his love of storytelling lead him to Boston University’s School of Fine Arts where he earned his degree in theater arts. After graduation he lived in New York City and worked as an actor until a film job took him to Los Angeles where he found a career in film production and eventually had the good fortune to meet Jen.
Jen’s Story
Jennifer Iverson grew up in Los Angeles, and traveled to the East Coast where she studied at Cornell, which led to journeys taking her to Italy and Japan before finally returning back home. She had just completed a French language program at Middlebury College and was considering a move to Paris when she met Michael. Today, she keeps Michael sane and has a passion for travel, the arts, literature, foreign languages, shuji (Japanese Calligraphy), meditation and Kundalini yoga.

Our Relationship
We met May 27, 2006, at a Memorial Day weekend party in Los Angeles. This was the beginning of many memories for us. We hit it off immediately, bonding over our love of movies, dogs, jazz, laughter, and good friends. We’ve shared many adventures and enjoyed walks in the woods. We were engaged on Leonora’s birthday, Jen’s grandmother, December 26, 2011. Michael proposed while we were planting a tree together for the conservation of monkeys in the rainforest of Costa Rica and now, after many moves with work and travel… we're finally getting married!
